Maru Turns Three
We’re sure you’re all over Maru and his stream of viral videos. It’s his birthday (which doesn’t really mean anything), but it does give us an excuse to share our favourite clip.
So here’s to you Maru. You are awesome my friend.

Diary of an AWARD School Student Wk 8

I have to say my new class didn’t go so well with this week’s digital brief. I think a lot of people were thrown by the ‘digital’ aspect. Most people came in with one of the following: ideas… digital executions or neither (quiet seriously).

Nice short film about recycling your milk containers. Kind of reminds us of the Ikea lampcommercial. Enjoy!

Diary of an AWARD School Student Week 7

Second half of AWARD School here I come! How productive/unproductive were you guys over the break? I’m still far from happy with everything I’ve done, that’s for sure! I’m switching to a different tutor group this half (swapping with another girl)…will be interesting to see how some of the other students are going with these briefs. So as of tomorrow, I’ll be at JWT Sydney being tutored by Ashadi Hopper, the National Digital Creative Director.
Last night’s lecture was by Chris James from Ogilvy One on Ideas and Online. I have to admit, Chris spoke really fast and I didn’t catch terribly much. So I will leave you with one key thought….campaigns are about conversation. Digital media= involvement= conversation.

Life Changing Tea

These products at Blue Q are clearly awesome. Obviously they would perform as they say they would…solving all your problems, in just a few toasty Fine China cups. Or not. Either way, they’d make an awesome gift, right?
