This is not a conspiracy theory
A year ago, New York based filmmaker Kirby Ferguson uploaded the first part of his 4-part web series, Everything is a Remix detailing the story of how everything from music to technology is built upon everything else that had come before it. The last part of the series was uploaded only 2 weeks ago and outlines how our current legal system doesn’t accommodate this process of creativity, pertinent considering the recent SOPA and PIPA controversy sweeping the internet.

Rent-a-bud
Pal Locate is a website that allows you to locate and rent “friends”.
Personally, this creeps me out. I mean, define “friend”. Would he come shopping with me? Would he laugh at my jokes? Or would he just hover in my shadow… gently exhaling on the back of my neck?

White Spiderman Dies For Biracial Spiderman
Marvel Comics have replaced Peter Parker’s character with half-black, half-hispanic, Miles Morales, in efforts to attract the “new generation” of comic book readers.
Initially, I was all like “Yeah! Go you half-black, half-hispanic American’s, who’ve dreamt of the day you’d see your half-black, half-hispanic, ultimate-self, reflected in one of history’s greatest comics “.
