Huffington Post Names 17-Year-Old Associate Editor
Wow. Myles Miller, a 17-year-old from the Bronx who was once deemed president material by Bloomberg’s office, has been named Associate Editor for The Huffington Post’s upcoming high school vertical. Mile has already worked for CBS’ “Early Show,” and covered the inauguration of Barack Obama, among a slew of other things.

Marvel Comics have replaced Peter Parker’s character with half-black, half-hispanic, Miles Morales, in efforts to attract the “new generation” of comic book readers.

Spanish Citizens Surrender Cars for Lifetime Travel Pass

The government of Murcia, Spain puts the city’s money where its mouth is and gives citizens a concrete alternative to driving, offering lifetime passes to its brand new tram system in exchange for turning over their cars. The conditions were simple; register by the end of June 2011 a debt free vehicle in working condition and a pass would be issued.

4chan’s Older Brother

An online mesh of everything that’s offensive, politically incorrect, sexually inappropriate and often illegal, 4chan has been described as the deepest, darkest corner of the internet. Despite this (or probably because of this), it gets over 10 million unique visitors every month but monetising on its success is a problem that has plagued 4chan since its inception. No one, apart from adult sites, want to advertise because of 4chan’s controversial nature.
