Intel’s Museum Of Me invites Facebook users to take a journey of their social life through a beautifully orchestrated data visualization tour. What it might lack in accuracy, it certainly makes up for in execution.

Unfortunately it doesn’t allow users to share the final virtual tour, instead it leaves you with a few key screen grabs. Nevertheless, it’s worth taking the time to explore.

Here’s what you can expect…

The tour starts out with an ‘artist’s’ didactic panel

You then move through the gallery to see your ‘top friends’ (so far, pretty accurate)

It then takes you through to a different room where there’s a wall covered with photos you’ve uploaded. The first time I did this, a lot of the photos on the wall were ’strange’ choices; photos I had forgotten about…photos with people I hardly speak to anymore. I did it another time, but it was much the same.

This one is really cool. It claims to depict the words most used on your wall. Again, I don’t know if they’re necessarily the words MOST used, but it’s a pretty unique word mash…one that’s anything but generic.

It then takes you to another room filled with your ‘likes’…

And then into another, where everyone’s photos float around, all ghost-like, till finally they form your profile picture.

Ending with Intel’s tagline ‘Visualise yourself’. Impressive stuff. LOUD loves it!
